Over the summer of 2021, I was working as an Experience Design Intern at Slalom Build in Atlanta. With a multi-faceted team spread across 3 different offices, we worked on developing a website tool that helped employees understand where they were at in their careers and how they could progress. As one of two experience design interns, I worked on building user flows, wireframes and high fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma, all of which were used in conducting user testing and communicating with our developers. At the end of the project, we demoed a live version of the website that we created and also handed over other deliverables such as wireframes to develop in the future and further user research on how managers used the old tool. Through my experience, I not only grew my skills in UI/UX, but also my communication skills with developers and project managers.
Since this information is not public, I will not be positing the full story on my website. If you would like to see my entire process and/or my wireframes and prototypes, feel free to reach out to me at jordanllym@gmail.com.
